本文将知识特征解构为知识离散特征与知识关系特征,依据社会网络理论和搜索重组理论,研究二模网条件下发明人知识离散特征对其合作网络中心性的影响以及行业技术环境下知识关系特征的调节作用,并运用中国上市医药企业2004—2016年专利数据和负二项回归模型验证相关假设。研究发现:二模网中发明人知识多样性可以显著提升其合作网络中心性,使发明人处于核心位置,行业知识组合潜力负向调节上述关系;二模网中发明人知识独特性会降低其合作网络中心性,使发明人处于边缘位置,行业知识组合潜力正向调节上述关系。研究结论为发明人如何选择合作伙伴及在研发合作中采取更有针对性的整合措施促进知识转移、提升合作网络中心性提供了一定的理论依据。 |

Impact of Inventor’s Knowledge Characteristics on the Centrality of Collaboration Network |

Abstract: |
Based on the new blending perspective of social network theory and search recombination theory, it distinguished between knowledge discretization characteristics versus knowledge relationship characteristics, and studied the impact of inventor’s knowledge discretization characteristics in the two-mode network on the centrality of collaboration network, as well as the moderating effect of knowledge relationship characteristics of industry technology environment. It verified the hypotheses by using the patent data about listed firms in the pharmaceutical industry in 2004—2016 and negative binomial regression models. The research indicates that knowledge diversity of the inventors in the two-mode network significantly enhances the centrality of the cooperative network, making the inventor at the core position. The combinatorial potential of knowledge negatively adjusts the above relationship. The uniqueness of the inventor's knowledge in the two-mode network reduces the centrality of its collaboration network, making the inventor on the marginal position. The combinatorial potential of knowledge positively adjusts the above relationship. The conclusions provide a theoretical basis for how inventors can choose partners and take effective measures to facilitate knowledge transfer and improve the centrality of its collaboration network. |
