    摘要:

    互补者在数字平台生态系统形成和演化中发挥着关键作用,是帮助平台为客户创造和交付价值的关键资产之一,但平台所有者拥有不可阻挡的权力优势,价值侵占行为时常发生。因此,互补者要如何管理与平台所有者的非对称依赖关系是值得持续关注的问题。研究发现,互补者虽然相对平台处于弱势地位,但他们会依据自身资源和能力,在平台权力情境的演变中选择差异化的参与策略,从而获得更多的权力和成长动力;进而提出基于平台权力和互补者自主权的双向匹配关系,即低自主权的互补者更容易采用依附式参与策略,高自主权的互补者更容易采用利用式参与策略。本文通过解构互补者在非对称依赖关系中的战略能动性,创新性地构建了“权力—自主权”动态匹配分析框架,为理解生态弱势方的成长机制提供了全新理论视角;同时通过揭示平台所有者与互补者间的权力依赖互动机制,既为解决平台垄断问题提供了理论依据,又为互补者战略突围提供了可操作的实践路径,对促进数字生态系统可持续发展具有重要启示意义。

    Abstract:

    Complementors play a key role in the formation and evolution of digital platform ecosystems and are one of the key assets that help platforms create and deliver value to customers. However, platform owners have an unstoppable power advantage, and value encroachment often occurs. Therefore, how the complementors manages the asymmetric dependency relationship with the platform owner is a problem that deserves continuous attention. It finds that although the complementors are in a weak position comparing to the platform owners, they will choose differentiated participation strategies according to their own resources and capabilities druing the evolution of the platform power situation, so as to obtain more rights and growth momentum. It proposes a bidirectional matching relationship based on platform power and the autonomy of the complementors, that is, the complementors with low autonomy is more likely to adopt the dependency participation strategy, while the complementors with high autonomy is more likely to adopt the utilization participation strategy. It deconstructed the strategic initiative of complementors within asymmetric dependency relationships, innovatively established a “power-autonomy” dynamic matching analytical framework, providing a novel theoretical perspective to understand the growth mechanisms of ecologically disadvantaged actors. Simultaneously, by revealing the power-dependency interaction mechanisms between platform owners and complementors, it not only offeres a theoretical foundation for addressing platform monopoly issues, but also provides actionable strategic pathways for complementors to break through constraints. This holds significant implications for promoting the sustainable development of digital ecosystems.
