基于社会网络理论,以2011—2017年A股上市公司为样本,本文实证检验了企业嵌入独立董事网络与多元化战略之间的关系,并探讨冗余资源和环境不确定性在上述关系中的调节作用。研究发现,企业嵌入独立董事网络中心度和结构洞的丰富度均与企业多元化战略呈正相关关系;冗余资源和环境不确定性均正向调节网络位置与多元化战略之间的关系,而冗余资源与环境不确定性的共同作用则负向调节网络位置与多元化战略之间的关系。在排除各种可能存在的内生性问题后,以上结论依然成立。研究结论丰富了社会网络领域的文献,对于企业在高度不确定的市场环境下实现多元化经营具有一定启示。 |

Based on social network theory, it took A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2017 as the research sample to empirically test the relationship between the embeddedness of independent director network and enterprises’ diversification strategy, and discussed the moderating effects of slack resources and environmental uncertainty. The results show that both network centrality and structural hole abundance are positively correlated with the diversification strategy; both slack resources and environmental uncertainty positively moderate the relationship between network location and the diversification strategy, while the interaction between slack resources and environmental uncertainty negatively regulates the relationship between network location and the diversification strategy. After excluding various possible endogenous problems, the conclusions are still vaild. The conclusions have enriched the literature in the field of social network and have certain implications for enterprises to achieve diversified operations in a highly uncertain market environment. |
