绿色创新是企业实现可持续发展的新型路径,同时也是企业在遵从环境规制的压力中塑造战略性优势的必然要求。传统研究聚焦于企业绿色创新的合规性,但忽略了合规性绿色创新与战略性绿色创新的和谐统一。据此,本文基于最优区分理论,以我国2013—2017年上市公司为样本,将绿色创新分为合规性绿色创新和战略性绿色创新两个维度,旨在探究绿色创新两个维度对企业绿色形象的影响机制研究。结果表明:合规性绿色创新和战略性绿色创新均对企业绿色形象具有显著的正向影响,但战略性绿色创新相比合规性绿色创新更能提升企业绿色形象; 环境伦理文化正向调节合规性/战略性绿色创新与绿色形象的关系;政治关联正向调节合规性绿色创新与绿色形象之间的关系,但对战略性绿色创新与绿色形象之间的关系未能发挥调节作用。研究结论拓展了绿色创新研究范畴,深化了绿色创新对绿色形象的作用机制研究,同时对引导中国企业积极落实绿色发展具有重要的推动作用。 |

Impact Mechanism of Compliant and Strategic Green Innovation on Enterprise Green Image: Perspective of the Optimal Distinctiveness Theory |

Green innovation is not only a new way for firms to achieve sustainable development, but is also an inevitable requirement for enterprises to improve their strategic advantages under the pressure of complying with environmental regulations. Prior research always focuses on the compliant of enterprise green innovation, but ignores the harmony of compliant green innovation and strategic green innovation. Accordingly, based on the optimal distinctiveness theory, it chose Chinese listed companies from 2013 to 2017 as the sample, and divided green innovation into compliant green innovation and strategic green innovation, aiming to explore the mechanism of the two dimensions of green innovation on enterprise green image. The results are as following. First, both compliant green innovation and strategic green innovation have significant positive impacts on enterprise green image, but strategic green innovation improves corporate green image more significantly than compliant green innovation. Second, environmental ethics culture positively moderates the effects of both compliant green innovation and strategic green innovation on enterprise green image. Finally, political connections positively moderate the effect of compliant green innovation on enterprise green image, but fail to moderate the relationship between strategic green innovation and enterprise green image. The conclusions theoretically expand the scope of green innovation research, and deepen the mechanism between green innovation and enterprise green image. Practically, the conclusions help guide Chinese enterprises to actively pursue green development. |
