针对商业企业为何向社会企业转型,从组织创新变革理论出发,使用fsQCA工具对22个商业企业向社会企业转型案例进行组态分析,并详细阐释5种可能的路径方案,从而打开商业企业向社会企业转型高成功度的路径“黑箱”。研究初步发现:商业企业内部特征、行为策略以及外部环境中的单个影响因素并不构成转型高成功度的必要条件;从组态视角来看,资源生态的异质性样态体现了商业企业向社会企业转型的多重实现方式,说明商业企业在一定资源约束下可以通过规模化、内部价值观塑造、主动获取政府支持以及延伸潜在行业市场进而重构商业模式等行动策略实现组织变革和创新,且进一步证明了社会企业作为混合组织价值创新的复杂性,混合组织的变革需要触及组织内部价值体系以及外部资源环境的根本性革新。本文从组织创新层面解构商业企业向社会企业转型复杂的因果关系,能够为混合组织变革研究、社会企业成长资源生态研究及其政策引导提供一定的启示,同时为商业企业参与第三次分配的潜在路径提供现实遵循。 |

Successful Path of Commercial Enterprise’s Transformation to Social Enterprise—A-Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis |

Aiming at the problem of why commercial enterprises transform into social enterprises, starting from the theory of organizational innovation and transformation, it analyzed 22 cases of commercial enterprises transforming into social enterprises from a configuration perspective by fsQCA, and explained in detail five possible path schemes, opening up the “black box” of the successful transformation of commercial enterprises to social enterprises. It finds that the internal characteristics, behavioral strategies, and individual influencing factors in the external environment of commercial enterprises do not constitute a necessary condition for a high degree of success in transformation. From a configuration perspective, the heterogeneity of resource ecology reflects the trend of commercial enterprises.The multiple realization methods of social enterprise transformation, which actually shows that commercial enterprises can achieve organizational change through action strategies such as scale, internal value shaping, active acquisition of government support, extension of potential industry markets and reconstruction of business models under certain resource constraints, and further proves the complexity of social enterprise as a hybrid organization’s value innovation,the transformation of hybrid organization needs to touch the fundamental innovation of the organization’s internal value system and external resource environment. It deconstructs the complex causality of the transformation from commercial enterprises to social enterprises from the organizational innovation level, which provides some enlightenments for the research of hybrid organization reform and the ecological research of social enterprise growth resources and its policy guidance, and provides potential paths for commercial enterprises to participate in the third distribution . |
